Rusko Services | Property Maintenance & Improvements

22/09/2026

Current Rusko job description:

1. Turn up!
2. Look at today’s completely different problem!
3. Sort it!
4. Repeat! 😂

We Love It!

Apparently this week that meant gutters, painting, planting, hedge cutting, weeding and garden maintenance.

Variety certainly isn’t an issue. 👌

Kitchen reset for an end of tenancy!

Rusko Services

13/09/2026

Today’s exciting episode from earlier in the year: two grown men spend hours filling tiny gaps between slabs. 😂

Turns out, it makes quite a difference. 👌

08/09/2026

It started with the fence… 🎨

30+ fence panels, a shed, hot tub housing and the garden room later, apparently the answer was “yes… all of it.”

Nearly three days, a lot of paint and an emergency extra pair of hands called in to help us get through it.

Everything got the same treatment, one colour, everything matching and the whole garden looking prim and proper again.

Safe to say, we knew that colour pretty well by the end of it. 😅

It’s not all hedges and gardens at Rusko… 🧽✨

This time we’re indoors for an end of tenancy clean, getting everything cleaned, refreshed and ready for the next person to call it home.

As always, it looks a lot quicker when you squeeze a few hours of hard work into a timelapse! 😅

From bathrooms and bedrooms to all those little areas that are easily missed, there’s something very satisfying about seeing a property come back to life.

Another job done. Another property ready for its next chapter. 🏡✨

Credit where credit’s due 👏

Ruskington Parish Council commissioned a fantastic transformation of the village MUGA into a new 4G football pitch, and it looks brilliant.

It’s a real investment in the village, giving local children, teams and residents a much better space to play football and stay active. Projects like this make a genuine difference to the community and deserve to be recognised.

Well done to everyone involved in making it happen ⚽️

Sometimes it’s not about completely changing a garden, it’s just about being able to enjoy it again. 🌿

John has lived in the village for over 30 years, but over time some of the bushes and hedges in his garden had grown so much that they’d started blocking his view of the garden altogether.

So that was the first job, open it back up and let John see his garden again.

A fair bit of cutting, clearing and several trips to get rid of the green waste later… what a difference. ✂️🌿

There’s plenty more we’ve been working on in John’s garden, but we’ll save the full before and afters for another day!

For now, this was a pretty satisfying start. 💪

Everyone needs to recharge the batteries occasionally… 🌧️🌿

After a busy few months, I’ve spent this week in Cornwall taking a bit of time out, switching off (well… trying to!) and getting ready for what’s next.

The long summer days are starting to disappear, the rain is making a comeback and a new season is just around the corner.

And we’re ready for it.

Batteries recharged. Plenty of ideas. Plenty we want to achieve.

We’re still right at the beginning of the Rusko journey, and we’re only just getting started.

Time to get back to it. Full steam ahead. 💪🌿
