This is Billy. 👋

Billy is our apprentice electrician who has been working with us for just over 5 years full time whilst also completing his college course. We asked Billy what he enjoyed about working with Willow Homes and how’s he’s managed to do his college course as well as work full time.👇🏼

‘I enjoy working here because there’s a variety of jobs and it’s not repetitive. It’s a good challenge.

There’s good support if I have a question about college. I did college in blocks as we thought it would be more beneficial because I got all the information altogether which allowed me to have consistent practical experience at Willow Homes.

Willow Homes has a good working environment and it’s an enjoyable place to work.’

Did you know we undertake listed and conservation work too?

We are undertaking a full scheme of renovation to a listed property in Grantham.

At the moment, we are working alongside the client and conservation officer, to maintain the structural stability of the structure and preserve the original features, like the beautiful hand cut roof and timber dowels. We are also reinstating a dormer window which has been lost over time!

We can’t wait to finish this project and stay tuned to see the progress!

Receiving testimonials from clients about our staff and workmanship really do mean a lot. We are very fortunate to not only have a fabulous, hard-working team but also fantastic clients.

⭐️"The decking in our back garden was rotting and we felt it could give way at any time. We
contacted Ed Robinson of Willow Homes and asked if he could call round and give us an
estimate. He was very helpful giving us choices of material and colours. He sent us the
finished estimate and we agreed a start date.
As the job progressed it was obvious the fence was rotten along with the pergola, we asked
him if it was possible to expand the job to take in this extra work. Nothing was too much
trouble and we now have a lovely deck area, new fence and pergola which we are truly
delighted with. The finished area looks 100% better and will be a lovely place to sit in the
summer months. Thanks to Ed and all the guys for doing a tremendous job for us.
The crew that carried out the work were knowledgeable and informative, very friendly and
extremely hard working.
We would recommend Willow homes to anyone that need this sort of work carried out."⭐️
