Another succesfull iron application.
We spray liquid iron onto fine turfs rather than broadcasting granular as it reacts quicker, you dont need to wait for rain or watering and most of all its cheaper!
This cricket square was sprayed 6 days ago and you can see the difference.
Iron benefits the turf in many ways:
Intense Green-Up: Iron is essential for chlorophyll production, which helps photosynthesis and turns grass a deep, dark green.
Moss Control: Iron sulphate dehydrates and kills moss while helping the grass thrive, making it an effective spring or autumn treatment.
Stress Resistance: It strengthens the cell structure of grass, making it better able to handle cold, drought, and diseases.
No Excessive Growth: Unlike nitrogen, iron improves color without forcing rapid growth, meaning you don’t have to mow as often.
Reduces worm castes: The slightly acidic nature of iron sulphate reduces worm activity
