💚 GIVING BACK 💚

As Broadfern approaches its first birthday, we’ve been reflecting on just how much support we’ve received over the last 12 months.

What started as a small idea has grown into a business that now looks after more than 70 regular clients across the local area. To say we’re grateful would be an understatement. Every booking, recommendation and kind word has helped us build something we’re incredibly proud of.

Because of that support, we’d like to give something back.

We know that life doesn’t always go to plan. Sometimes illness, poor mental health, caring responsibilities, bereavement, financial pressures, or simply feeling overwhelmed can make everyday tasks feel impossible.

So we’d like to offer one person or family:

💛 A little favour from us… 💛

The team at Mayor Roofing are currently taking on a 24 hour Slate-A-Thon in Anglesey, working around the clock on a roof to raise money for Daffodils Dreams, an incredible local charity that supports families and children across Wigan.

As a fellow local business, I know how much hard work, determination and commitment goes into something like this, and I think what they’re doing is absolutely brilliant.

If you have any spare change, even if it’s just £1, it really does go a long way. Every donation adds up and helps support a cause that makes a genuine difference in our community.

It’s a challenge that’s well deserving of support, and I’d love to see the Wigan business community get behind them. 👏

We’ve received SO many messages over the last few days regarding our services and just wanted to say a huge thank you 🥹👏

Apologies if we haven’t replied to everyone just yet — this is genuinely the busiest we’ve ever been, and we’ve also just taken on our biggest contract to date 🤯

Although we’d love to fit everyone in, unfortunately it’s not always possible, but we’re working through all enquiries as quickly as we can and aim to have everyone replied to by close of business today.

We have had the most unbelievably crazy few weeks 🤯

Our days have been starting as early as 4am and sometimes not finishing until 7pm, so our socials have unfortunately taken a little bit of a back seat whilst we focus on our clients.

We honestly can’t thank everyone enough for keeping us so busy. We absolutely love what we do and pride ourselves on delivering the highest standard possible every single clean and we hope that shows in our work 🤍

We’ve also had another lovely client secure our final weekly slot this week 🤯✨

One thing we always remind people is that regular cleans don’t always have to mean the full house every visit. This particular client only wanted designated areas maintaining each week to keep everything feeling fresh and manageable, which works perfectly too!

Shower traps are one of the most overlooked areas in a home, but they’re also one of the biggest causes of bad smells and slow drainage.

Hair, soap, body products… it all builds up over time and sits there if it’s not cleared properly.

At Broadfern, this is something we always keep an eye on during cleans because a fresh bathroom isn’t just about what you can see.

A few simple habits can save you a bigger problem down the line:

Remove visible hair after each shower

Lift and clean the trap every couple of weeks
