Recent roof work done on this log store/ garden tools store.
Old one had definitely seen better days
So firstly this was removed
Leaving some frame work to attend to....
Then fully boarded ready for some membrane and felt work... Boards and other materials were supplied by ..
Once the roof was completed a new guttering system was installed...
New bolts were also added to the doors to finish...

Busy busy week up in sunny Seaton Delaval 🌞

Skirting boards and architrave installed in bathroom / kitchen and bedroom.
False ceiling built and clad in the bathroom
Materials from for a flawless finish.
Shower enclosure installed along with shower unit fitted and cladding installed along with trims..
Then boxing around pipework to finish.
Basin waste plumbed in and basin secured and siliconed.
Tiling completed in the kitchen and window sill .
Walls lined and ready for painting and decorating....
Paint correction carried out in a few spots of living area then painted with white emulsion..
Next week there will be internal doors installed from and this project will. Be completed then on to the next one 💪

Thankyou to for letting me carry out work to his property..
Also for his plumbing expertise this week

Feature wall part 2....
Part of today's work was to return to this bedroom where I had previously added panelling....
With this been a freshly plastered wall first off was the all important mist coat....
Then durable matt was used to paint the bottom half in a nice purple tint....
Then wallpaper was hung from which was paste the wall type which always saves on mess.👌....
A couple of pictures were then hung to finish.

Massive write up on this one so if you get bored just look at the pictures and videos everyone 😂.....
So did it again and expertly organised a full refurb to be carried out at on the gents changing rooms.....
Got a call asking if I could help out which I always take pleasure in doing!!..
First of all on the list was full rip out of tiled walls and flooring which after 6 years or so of abuse and poor install in the first place may as well of required arm bands.... Water everywhere underneath!!!!..
Once removed the existing timbers were so rotton I could put my fingers through it and unknown things were growing on it 🤮 😂 ..
So rebuilding walls was next!!!..
Followed by reboarding then proper tanking applied..
The ceiling that was once white once changed to black with a coat of allcoat black and new ceiling tiles ordered were installed..
Then a new hex lighting was installed effortlessly by us both lol with me passing the screws and holding it up when required... Quite a laugh 🙄😂..
New flooring installed and wall cladding in grey and black with black trims throughout!!..
Black enclosures built and installed then installed all pipework, new urinal, new basin all fixtures and fittings while I went for a protein shake for the gains 💪🤣...

A nice fresh wall to panel yesterday....
Next steps on this one will be giving the fresh plaster the all important mist coat..
Then papering above the dado rail.
Followed by painting the dado and lower wall with a colour decided by the customer...
Look out for finished results on here in a week or so

Been a good while since I've had the opportunity to carry out some fence work.....
I can safely say I still very much enjoy it!!!😎🏡..
First job on this one was Remove the makeshift fence made of doors and remainder of perished old fence....
Then between snow showers.. STILL snow showers ❄️🙄😂!!!..
New posts were put in place where required..
Then new rails and boards installed..
With views as good as these it was decided to go with a 4ft fence so when the summer finally arrives the customers can sit in the garden and enjoy the world go by...
Also a smaller fence is ideal as winds can get up pretty high on this hill so will be stronger and less of a wind catcher💪😉..

Well after what feels like years of rain!! ☔

I finally got back to the best chippy in crook to finish off what I started before the rains came..
Firstly prep involved sanding and scraping loose paint from surfaces and sealants where needed to get some crisp lines when painting started...
Wood fillers were used where previous weather damage had taken its toll...

Cover stain was the primer of choice in places where bare wood was present to ensure no bleeding or further moisture could affect the final finish...
Then once surfaces were correct a lovely choice of Stiffkey blue was mixed by non other than Coundon with allcoat to give a final flawless finish
..
Thanks to Graham and Paula and the staff for looking after me while carrying out this work....
This has been a ongoing challenge with weather but Its turned out to be looking fresh and new again

Latest living room project.. 😍

Absolute labour of love this one...
Ceiling and coving were treated to two coats of brilliant white emulsion...
Then skimming stone was chosen to be the colour for walls which is always a beautiful neutral shade..
This was also used for the internal of the chimney breast...
Newly built alcove units and shelves were undercoated with primer
Then Broccoli brown shade of were used to finish this brilliant new feature in the living room...
Window sills / skirting boards and door were then coated in dulux satin wood .
Then to finish the mirror was hung using the only to ensure a decent anchor point in any plasterboard wall.
So many small details were covered in this work which I always enjoy.. Thankyou to Graham and Paula for letting me carry out the work

Some wallpaper work this week keeping me out of the constant rain we're having!!! ☔☔
First was a bunny and hedgehog pattern from hung on the chimney breast after the walls and Woodwork were decorated in this living room..
Paint colour was estate sulking room pink
Woodwork was coated in satin wood paint..
I had real trouble finding tartan paint for the second chimney breast pictured so used the paper supplied kindly by the customer lol..!!..
Paper is a great way of transforming a space and these two papers look great in each living space 😍

Throwback to when I built this outdoor food station 🍲😍.....
Would love to get another one of these under the HPS belt.. When the weather improves that is....
If anyone would like or know or someone whos outdoor space would benefit from this custom build get in touch for some costings..

Another great panelling job and decoration at this property.
Panels were supplied by and were wooden tongue and groove effect which transformed this entrance stairs and landing space...
Once fitted a custom built understairs cupboard door was built and hung with the same panelling as used on the walls...
Once all caulked filled and prepping was compete painting could be started.
A durable matt colour was applied supplied by ..
Then woodwork and stair spindles were changed to an off black colour mixed into a all coat paint....
Black radiators were fitted by and also add a great finish to this space and kick out a great amount of heat.. Good for the freezing weather right now 🥶👍.
