Busy day today, a laminate repurposed from one room into another, great upcycling project all refitted with fresh scotia beading ready for the room to be furnished, like a big jigsaw 🤣 then over to a student property to sort some smoke alarms fix the front pvc door (frame was loose due to repetitive slamming) and add some skirting/box some pipework in all ready for painting, shave a bathroom door to ease it, fix a kitchen tap, and replace a faulty light switch 🥵 all in a days work 💪🏻

Gate rebuild today, the original gate had deteriorated but managed to restore and strengthen the original side stile for its shape, all the baluster rails toothed in for extra strength then added a castor wheel to keep the weight balanced (note to self buy a pop up gazebo get ready for winter 😂😂 🙄)

Renovation for a landlords property all ready for a new tenant, supplied a nice twist carpet all bleach cleanable and durable for every room including the stairs all on an 8mm underlay keep it looking fresh. Also supplied some new felt lined vinyls to kitchen and bathroom to give extra comfort aswell as some warmth underfoot.

Busy week while the suns out get some garden projects done and dusted this garden house is fully weather proofed the felt has been laid over a bitumen based adhesive pasted on before felt laid over and pinned down, ready for a decision to be made on the front windows/doors, cladding and decking (Keep an eye out for updates 😬)

Enjoyed this little project, uplifted and removed the old carpet and underlay, there was an old beading around the room which I removed first, then supplied and fitted an 8mm laminate on the 5.5mm foam board underlay (better for absorbing impact sounds to rooms below) all finished off with a colour match scotia. looks lovely all set back up into a bedroom.

Todays job completed, I’ve figured out the heat and carpet fitting don’t mix 🥵😂 I supplied and installed 3 bedrooms in luxury thick pile carpet the largest bedroom is fitted into the walk in wardrobe in one piece all on 11mm thick underlay nice and squishy.

This was a garage conversion completed recently for a friend, installed a false ceiling and raised the floor added a secret cupboard to hide all services behind the sink, installed the sink and toilet with a modern black radiator, flooring brought up to the height of the existing kitchen and finished off with some amtico spacia flooring to key into the rest of the ground floor, brickwork and groundwork for waste services completed by good friends all arranged to keep the job flowing and completed quickly.
