Ever wondered what’s inside a professional floor sanding van?

In this video I give you a full walk-around of my Wood Floor Revival van setup — from the floor sanding machines and dust extraction equipment in the back to the tool storage, accessories and setup along the side.

This is the equipment I use day-to-day restoring hardwood, engineered wood, parquet and traditional timber floors across the UK.

I’ll show you how I organise the van, the machines I carry, my dustless sanding setup and how I try to keep everything accessible when working on professional floor restoration projects.

I got the opportunity to restore these tired old pine floorboards inside a beautiful Grade II listed manor house in North Yorkshire, England.

Years of wear had left the boards looking tired and well past their best — but with old floors like these, replacement isn’t always the answer.

In this video I take you through the restoration process, carefully sanding back the old surface and bringing the character, grain and warmth of the original pine back to life.

There’s something special about working on floors in historic properties. The aim isn’t to make them look brand new — it’s to preserve the character they’ve gained over the years while giving them a finish that can be enjoyed for many more.

Taking that little bit of extra time to get the right finish for customers can easily get skipped but it’s so important to me to finish a job knowing I’ve left nothing behind
