Prime Access Solutions has taken on a new member of staff.

May I take this opportunity to introduce you all to “Bayley” our lovely 6 year old Frenchie crossed with a Boston.

He recently lost his lifelong best friend Fletch and has understandably been a bit down in the dumps so I’ve decided to start taking him to work with me.

To be honest he’s not a great deal of help when it comes to setting up or operating the machine, I can’t see him ever passing his IPAF “cherry picker” operators course, he never makes a brew, he never buys lunch, his conversation isn’t the best and his breath absolutely stinks but already he’s a massive hit with the customers and they love him 🥰

On a positive note, he doesn’t moan, he’s pretty cheap to employ and I don’t have to pay him a workplace pension 😉

If you see us out and about and spot him sitting in the front passenger seat of my truck taking in the sights, give us a little peep and a wave 👋🏼

Hope everyone has a great weekend and as always, if you are planning any work at height, give me a call and I can help you do it safely.

Another great job completed with Mitch from Sunshine Professional Cleaning Services in Madeley.

Mitch needed access to the valley between the two roof sections to complete his roof cleaning job so he gave me a call to get him and his kit safely up into position.

A lovely job done and always great to catch up with Mitch 👍🏼

A couple of shots from this weeks jobs.

Another log-burning stove being installed in Nantwich by the team from Ignite Fires & Fireplaces 🔥

Access was required to safely get to the chimney stack on this large property and install the flue liner. Another top job with this lovely team 👍🏼

Second job was with Low Cost Roofing Stoke Ltd who needed access to a commercial building in Hanley to safely install a new gutter downspout.

One of those awkward jobs for Lee and his team where it’s only a quick job so not viable or cost-effective having scaffolding erected but it’s just that bit too high for ladders to be used.

A perfect job for my elevated work platform, fast to set up, tradie and his tools and equipment lifted into position and the job completed safely and efficiently 👏🏻👏🏻

A lovely commercial job today in Stone with John from JW Pest Control.

This building had been suffering with ingress from pigeons and in turn they were clogging the gutters with nesting material preventing the water from draining properly.

The use of my truck mounted cherry picker providing safe access to height for John allowing him to clear out the gutters and once that was done he installed bird proofing materials to keep the pesky things out in the future 👍🏼

Great to work with John again and the weather was even kind to us too 🌞

As the weather gets wetter and the season changes from Summer to Autumn, demand starts to ramp up for my access platform.

Installation of log burners really starts to accelerate between now and Xmas and the fitters would much prefer the safety of my access platform over clambering up wet and slippery roof tiles with a chimney flue liner in hand.

The photos show some flue liner installs from the last week or so and also perfectly demonstrate the versatility and practical application of using my mobile elevated work platform (MEWP).

Dave from Focal Flame utilising the platform to access this tall chimney stack on a property in Stallington, Stoke on Trent.

The team from Ignite Fires & Fireplaces making use of the platform to reach over the solar panels installed on the roof of this property in Nantwich, Cheshire.

The roof wasn’t particularly high but the presence of the solar panels meant that ladders couldn’t even be considered for this one. Plus, when the whole chimney pot had to be removed and replaced with a new one, it’s just so much easier in a MEWP as all your materials and tools are right there with you.

And the final picture shows an awkward one where the machine had to squeeze into a tight driveway in Stafford for Alex Crofts. An old flue liner removed and some new bird guard cowls installed onto the chimney pots to keep the weather and the birds out 👍🏼

A cracking day today working with the team at Blancomet Recycling UK in Stone.

They hired me for 4hrs as they needed to repair some downspouts that had become detached from the gutters, reseal some exterior windows and finally, replace some faulty CCTV cameras inside one of their warehouses.

A perfect demonstration of the versatility afforded by hiring my mobile elevated work platform (MEWP).

Another quick job with Low Cost Roofing Stoke Ltd this morning in Hanley town centre.

Too high for ladders, only a 10 minute job so can’t justify the cost of scaffolding or the faff of building a tower so absolutely perfect for my truck mounted cherry picker 👌🏼

Pavement cordoned off, safe working area created, all working at height risks mitigated and the job completed for the customer 😉

“Remember, it’s quicker with a picker”

Today saw me back with me old mucka Neil Gerrard from Neil Gerrard Services Limited using the cherry pickers “up and over” capabilities on a commercial property in Hanley, Stoke on Trent.

I had to get him safely up to position for some downspout and hopper replacements on this property and my machine was perfect for the job.

Once again, the customer was able to avoid the extremely costly expense of scaffolding which for a building and set up like this would have cost an absolute fortune 💰 💰

It took me 5 minutes to set my truck up, 2 minutes to lift Neil safely into position and just 2hrs later we were both leaving site with the job safely completed 👍🏼

Another cracking job mate, see you on the next one 😎
