A little update from Patchup with Lewis 👋

It’s been a while since I’ve posted properly on here, but Patchup has still been busy behind the scenes carrying out property maintenance, repairs and refurbishment work across Staffordshire.

Over the last few months I’ve been concentrating on building the business properly — improving the way jobs are managed and reported, developing our landlord and property-investor services, and continuing to deliver work for existing clients.

Recent work has included reactive repairs, planned maintenance, property refreshes and bathroom refurbishment work.

I’m now opening up some availability for October and November for selected:

• property repairs and maintenance
• landlord and managed-property work
• void and property refreshes
• bathroom refreshes and refurbishment work
• smaller planned improvement projects

If you’ve got something that’s been sitting on the maintenance list, a property that needs bringing back up to standard, or a bathroom/project you’d like to discuss, feel free to send the page a message with a few photos and the postcode.

Two jobs, one from the tail end of last week finished off on Monday. Nice easy one for today.

1. Raised beds using reclaimed sleepers, lined and filled with gravel for drainage and then a ton of top soil, ready for tenant to put mulch and be some lovely flowers. Main purpose of the bed was to provide support for the fencing behind.

2. Quick cupboard relocation, taken from one wall and placed on the other adjacent to an existing cupboard, door flipped so the open as the customer wanted, holes filled,

Some jobs from the first couple of weeks back at it.

1. Ceiling patch, couple had a leak from their ensuite that had caused a bulge in the plasterboard ceiling of the living room, opened up the bulge, cut away some plaster board inspecting behind to make sure that it was dry and no mold had formed from the water that has caused the issue, then patched skimmed and retextured, finished in vinyl silk to blend.

2. Boundary garden fencing for one of our landlord clients, 2 new posts using 3 originals and 5 new panels.

3. Manky old gate replaced with a scratch built treated pine gate that'll last many years.

4. Retractable washing line for a returning customer.

5. Another returning customer wanting some scotia beading, using PVC quadrant unusual but effective.

6. Broken window handle, nice and easy.

Many things in the pipeline. :)

If you require anything, like the jobs we complete and what to become our next satisfied customer don't hesitate to give us a call or a Whatsapp : 07592266819.
