Despite a severe lack of rental stock in the UK right now, the Chancellor's Autumn Statement seemed to offer little support to landlords who are providing much-needed accommodation to tenants. ๐๏ธ

๐ Reform the planning process to allow for a smoother quicker process?

With increased pressure and costs, many landlords may be forced to sell some of their investment stock which will exacerbate the problem further: ๐๐๐๐ higher demand for rental properties and ๐๐๐๐ lower supply. ๐๐
However, trained and educated investors, I believe, will choose to remain in the market and continue to build their portfolios with a long-term strategy in mind. ๐ง The last thing you would want is let your money decrease in value sat idle in the bank. ๐ฐ๐ฆ
