There’s something special about life in the Devon countryside. 🌿

Rolling hills, winding lanes, fresh sea air, cosy pubs, market towns and that slower pace of life that so many people are searching for. It’s not just about buying a house here, it’s about embracing a lifestyle.

As an estate agent, I don’t just sell property… I help people find their place in this incredible part of the world. Whether it’s a country cottage, a coastal retreat or a family home with views for miles, Devon offers a quality of life that’s hard to match.

If you’re thinking about making the move, I’d love to help you call Devon home.

Presentation matters. But experience matters even more.

That’s why we use advanced technology like Giraffe360 to capture every property in stunning detail. Creating immersive 360° walkthroughs that allow buyers to explore a home from wherever they are.

It’s the next best thing to being there.

Buyers can move through each room, understand the flow of the layout, and truly picture how the space works for their lifestyle, all before stepping through the front door.

For our sellers, this means:

✔️ Greater online engagement
✔️ Buyers who are already emotionally connected
✔️ Fewer time-wasting viewings
✔️ Better-qualified, serious enquiries

Technology doesn’t replace great estate agency, it enhances it.

By combining innovative tools with personal service, we make sure your home stands out, reaches further, and attracts the right buyers.

A home is more than square footage and specs.

Buyers don’t fall in love with measurements. They fall in love with moments.

The muddy boots by the door after a Dartmoor walk.
The coats hanging ready for the next family adventure.
The light in the hallway that welcomes you home.

When we market a property, we don’t just present the facts, we tell the story. We capture the lifestyle, the character, and the feeling of living there. Because emotion is what drives decisions.

Statistics inform.
Lifestyle inspires.

And inspired buyers make confident offers.

One of the biggest benefits of working with an independent estate agent? Flexibility.

Because I’m independent, I’m not tied to rigid office hours or corporate schedules. I can attend viewings at times that work around you. Early mornings, evenings, even weekends.

Buying or selling a home shouldn’t mean taking time off work or rearranging your entire week. I work around your schedule, not the other way round.

Personal service. Flexible viewings. A better client experience from start to finish.

If you’re thinking of moving, let’s chat. 🏡

Sometimes, buyers don’t need more information, they need vision.

An empty room can feel cold.
An unloved space can feel overlooked.
But with the right presentation, it can tell a completely different story.

That’s where virtual staging comes in.

By thoughtfully furnishing and styling a space digitally, we help buyers visualise how a property could feel as a home. It brings warmth to empty rooms, purpose to awkward layouts, and inspiration to spaces that need a little imagination.

It’s not about changing the property, it’s about revealing its potential.

When buyers can picture themselves living there, they connect emotionally. And that connection is what turns viewings into offers.

Because sometimes, seeing the vision makes all the difference.

Devon Crocus blooms are one of my favourite things to see.

📍 St Andrew’s Church, Kenn

Right in the village where I’m lucky enough to live stands one of the oldest recorded churches in the area, and it is full of extraordinary history.

Within the churchyard grows a 2,000-year-old yew tree, suggesting this may have been a sacred site long before Christianity, possibly dating back to Saxon times.

The present stone church was built during the 14th and 15th centuries using beautiful Heavitree stone. Its architecture spans the Decorated Gothic style of the early 1300s and the later Perpendicular Gothic period of the 1400s, creating a timeline of craftsmanship within one building.

One of its most remarkable features is the original 16th-century rood screen, an intricately carved wooden partition dating back to the 1500s. The large crucifix, known as the rood, was carved in 1885 in Oberammergau, Germany, a town famous for its woodcarving, replacing the original that was lost during the Reformation between 1533 and 1603.

In the 19th century, Rev. Reginald Porter led a 30-year restoration, carefully adding Victorian Gothic Revival details that still complement the medieval character today.

The church is Grade I listed and recognised for its exceptional craftsmanship within a traditional rural landscape. It is also the resting place of the Ley family of Trehill Estate, including John Ley Senior, who purchased the estate in 1745 and later became Clerk of the House of Commons.

History, architecture, craftsmanship and centuries of village life all sit peacefully together here.

And beyond all the dates and details, it is simply beautiful.

💛 Act of Random Kindness Day (ARK Day) 💛

As an estate agent, I’m lucky enough to help people through some of life’s biggest milestones; buying, selling, moving, starting fresh. But today isn’t about property… it’s about people.

For Act of Random Kindness Day, I’m encouraging everyone in our local community to do one small thing that makes someone else’s day a little brighter.

It could be:
🏡 Helping a neighbour with their bins
☕ Buying someone a coffee
💐 Leaving a kind note for a colleague
📦 Offering a hand to someone who’s moving

Moving home can be stressful, and kindness goes a long way. Let’s make our community not just a great place to live, but a great place to belong.

If you do a random act of kindness today, I’d love to hear about it 💬
