We have had a few questions this week asking us what is a snag and why do I need one?

A snag is an issue or defect with a newbuild property where it doesnt comply with regulations.
HomeSure Snagging can provide you with all you need to ensure your mind is at rest regarding your new property.

Our inspectors will carry out an audit on the internal and external of your property covering areas such as, loft spaces, brickwork, fixtures and fittings, kitchens and many more. We will then provide you with a PDF document with all the defects your home has along with a description for each issue. All you have to do then is forward it onto the builder who will repair the issues under warranty.

Here are some examples of defects we picked up on a recent inspection.

These items were picked up on the external portion of the inspection.

As you can see in the images below we discovered a gas leak which was immediately reported to the gas board and was fixed promptly.

This inspection took approximately 2 to 3 hours and contained circa 80 items.

*permission was given by the home owners to share these photos.
