Despite what appears to be some new political shenanigans (!!), to layer onto the current national and global economic pressures, we at Baddow Estates Limited continue to remain laser focused on what matters — building quality homes and delivering sustainable communities for our customers.

We are super proud to see Grove Gardens in Stalbridge, North Dorset coming along so well - now over two-thirds build complete, with three locally quarried stone homes and six carefully designed bungalows really taking shape.

Long-term stability is vital for our industry and wider economy, but so is continuing to deliver much needed homes. Exciting progress ahead.

Despite storm Goretti and Chandra doing their best to slow down progress in January at Grove Gardens, Pond Walk, Stalbridge - the fantastic site team keep pressing ahead.

The natural local stone, paired with brick quoins is looking exceptional. With the first roof trusses also now installed, the character of this beautiful development is really starting to shine.

As a SME, we remain committed to building quality homes and delivering sustainable communities.

Hard hats on. High-vis at the ready at Grove Gardens, Pond Walk, Stalbridge, Dorset, DT10 2PY.

Our most enthusiastic inspectors came for a New Year site visit to keep a close eye on progress and make sure everything is being built to "paw-fection". 🐾 🐾

Watch this space as we get closer to completing the build of these quality 9 new homes and delivering another sustainable community.

🌿 Exciting Development Update! 🌿

The team at Baddow Estates Limited are delighted to share an update on one of our new build projects, Grove Gardens - a boutique development located in the heart of Stalbridge, Dorset.

This scheme will deliver:
🏡 6 beautifully designed bungalows
🏠 3 contemporary family homes
🌳 Significant additional planting
🌿 Considerable ecological upgrades
🏗️ Redevelopment of a former derelict, unmanaged, council-owned site

The site team (Glossbrook Group of Companies, N&G Groundworks and others) are making fantastic progress. The attention to detail from the team is already shining through (even with the challenging weather!).

It’s a real reminder that all the effort behind the scenes (even more so as an SME homebuilder!!!) to deliver Quality New Homes and Creating Sustainable Communities like Grove Gardens, truly does pay off.

With these new homes coming to the market in summer 2026, we are super excited and look forward to sharing more updates as the development progresses.

🏡 Exciting News from Baddow Estates.

The team at Baddow Estates Limited are delighted to announce that we have secured planning permission for a new residential development in the stunning Anglo-Saxon market town of Wareham, Dorset — the historic gateway to the Isle of Purbeck.

This project will transform a derelict brownfield site at the base of Wareham’s ancient Saxon walls into 9 beautiful new homes, while delivering significant ecological enhancements.

It’s always a privilege to work with such a dedicated team and engage with stakeholders. It is milestones like this that remind us why we do what we do.

We are super proud to be contributing to the future of this special part of Dorset and to be delivering much needed quality new homes and another sustainable community.

A start on site is always an exciting milestone — but this one feels especially rewarding.

The journey to get here was far from straightforward. From planning hurdles to acquisition challenges, it felt like an uphill struggle at every stage. But persistence, teamwork, determination and a shared belief in the project got us over the line — and now we are on site building 9 beautiful homes in Stalbridge, North Dorset.

A huge thank you to everyone who worked alongside us to make this happen.
