Following the announcements about the easing of Covid restrictions, we are now opening for bookings from 26th April.

Initially we can only accommodate single household bookings. From 17th May bookings for up to four persons from two different household will be possible. Then from early June bookings for up to six people from three households.

Please note that these dates are currently indicative so may be subject to change. We presently have good availability over the summer. Please contact us for details.

Update 7th February.

We participated in a good Zoom session last week with the Dornoch DACIC Business Group. Dornoch is getting ready to open for business once lockdown restrictions are lifted.

The consensus is that April/May is likely to be the earliest possible time for re-opening, with a phased re-opening May-September more likely.

We will open up for bookings just as soon as there is more certainty. In the meantime please keep an eye on our page for updates, and LIKE and SHARE it if you would like a £50 discount on any bookings made in 2021.

Please note that we can presently only accept bookings from single households who live in areas of Scotland that are at Level 1 or 2. If that's you, why not consider a festive break in lovely Dornoch? 😊

The Scottish Government have today issued updated Coronavirus guidance for the festive period. Under this guidance the house is available for a single household coming from an area of Scotland that is at Level 0,1 or 2. So, if that's you, why not consider a festive break in lovely Dornoch?

Whilst the new guidance permits bubbles to be formed, the guidance also states that "During the Christmas period those who are part of a bubble should not stay in tourist accommodation. Only those not part of a bubble should plan on staying in tourist accommodation and should follow the tourist accommodation, socialising and travel rules in the local authority area you are staying."

This means that we can only accept bookings from single households, and only from folk from areas of Scotland at levels 0, 1 or 2. The good news is that if that includes you, our lovely house is available over Christmas / Hogmanay!

Due to a cancellation the house is now available over Christmas / Hogmanay. £175/night, minimum stay five nights.

Sadly the legendary Dornoch Hogmanay Street Party has had to be cancelled this year, but the good news is that Dornoch and the Highlands are presently at Level 1.

This means hospitality venues - restaurants & pubs - can serve food & alcohol indoors as well as outdoors and venues can stay open until 22:30. Hopefully this will continue up to and over the holiday season.

Please note that we can presently only accept bookings from guests who live in areas of Scotland that are at Level 1 or 2. Also only members of one household may stay.
