Our team recently attended site to carry out planned maintenance on the property's gully traps, using a tanker to remove years of built-up waste and restore the system to optimal condition.

While on site, we also rectified an issue with a rear gully trap manhole seal, ensuring it was correctly fitted and seated to help prevent future issues.

Preventative maintenance like this helps reduce the risk of blockages, flooding and costly reactive callouts further down the line.

It's Mental Health Awareness Week 🧠

It’s something that affects everyone, whether directly or through someone around you.

In our line of work, it’s easy to just crack on. Long days, pressure on site, things to get done. But taking a minute to check in with your team, or even yourself, matters more than most people realise.

It’s also why we were proud to support one of our engineers Josh, who recently as he raised money for Mind through a charity darts event. It’s a cause that genuinely matters, and we were glad to back it with a donation.

A simple conversation, a bit of support, or getting behind something like that, it all makes a difference.

Something worth keeping in mind this week, and beyond.

Not all environments give you room for error.

Casinos are fast-moving, high-pressure sites where downtime isn’t an option, everything has to work, all the time.

Over the past 3 years, we’ve been supporting a national casino estate with full drainage and pump maintenance.

That’s over 1,800 jobs delivered across reactive works and planned maintenance, all while operating discreetly and within tight SLA windows.

We’ve maintained over 94% attendance SLA, and over 98% of jobs are being completed within SLA.

That doesn’t happen by chance. It comes down to having the right engineers, the right systems, and a team that knows how to deliver under pressure.
