🇬🇧 What a lovely afternoon! 🥂 Thank you so much to everyone who came along to our very first Tapas and Chat at DeskSpace Coworking today. The room was buzzing, with more than 20 local business owners, freelancers and entrepreneurs swapping stories, making new connections, and enjoying a glass of Cava (or coffee) and some tapas from Estrella De Mar ☀️🍤

This is exactly what we hoped Business Networking Mojácar be: relaxed, friendly, and a chance to meet people you haven't met yet, not just the familiar faces.

🎉 Congratulations to Tom Dawson - Verisure, our raffle winner!

A big thank you to Madelaine Want and Sam Barrett from Lumon for providing the raffle prize - and general support 💙

And special thanks to Olive Tree - Turre for kindly lending us their Cava glasses and ice buckets at the 11th hour 🫒🍾

Another FoundHER Circle at DeskSpace last night. Many of you know my wife runs two groups for business women here, and this month's topic was lead generation and partnerships.

That's all I'm allowed to tell you. I'm reliably informed that "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas", which I think was her polite way of telling me to mind my own business. 😄

Busy week ahead at DeskSpace! 📅 Four great things happening — thought I'd put them all in one place:

🗓️ Tuesday 22nd — Sandra Parker is running "Rediscovering Your Fabulous" — message her directly for details.

🗓️ Wednesday 23rd — Fiona Keogh from Horizons Wealth and Support Services is hosting a free pop-up for financial and pension queries. Worth booking a slot with her in advance to make sure she's free at the time that suits you best.

🗓️ Friday 24th — we're closed from midday for coworking, as we're hosting Business Networking Mojácar from 13:30.

Yesterday we had Ann Morgan in for a couple of hours — our sister business FoundSpace - Web & Local Marketing for English Speakers in Spain is building her new coaching website, and she needed an up-to-date photo for it.

We're not photographers, but Ann came prepared — contact lenses swapped in, meeting room booked, ready to go. A few snaps later and the website was updated with a new photo and live: www.annmorgancoaching.com
