"Last week I had the privilege of spending time with a local property developer called Rob King. We walked around a small part of Southampton on what Rob calls his ‘Property Safari’ - which I recommend to anyone looking to get into property development. A great deal of knowledge was shared with me as well as getting to see some of the work Rob has completed in the area.
Something that struck a chord with me was Rob’s focus on quality and tenant experience. It was great to understand the mindset towards developing property, both for profit and for creating enjoyable living environments. Of course, not all properties allow for versatile adaptability but striving towards exemplar living accommodation should be on all our minds, especially those developing housing in city centres like Southampton.
Rob is a fountain of knowledge and spends a lot of his time empowering people in the property business and indeed those looking to make a start. Rob hosts a once-a-month event at the Old Bond Store called the ‘Property Meet Up’ which is a great event with fantastic guest speakers each month, I highly recommend this event and ill hopefully see you there this Thursday"
