1. The biggest reason for me setting up my estate agency was because I have seen a lack of quality when it comes to listing your home. photos taken on iPhone, incorrect floorpans, no video marketing. When speaking to potential buyers they are making their decision based on the first couple of photos. first impressions matter.

2. Working along side EXP has provided my business with the ability to market your property on all of the major platforms. Every client expects their agent to be on Rightmove but why risk not putting your property on all three. Plus my own website which most enquiries come through my social media pages.

3. Social media is a free marketing tool that very few agents use. My page regularly gets over 50,000 views per month. This will only grow over time as I advertise more properties and vendors share their homes. most home movers would be surprised by the amount of enquiries that come through this route.

4. I have been doing this job for 10 years and have now worked on both sides of the business (corporate and independent). The way larger businesses are set up means each person has a role to play (Branch manager, valuer, negotiator, administrator). The client experience for the client is one of feeling one of many, hard to get hold of the valuer who promised the work. The way my business is set up is it’s me. you get from original valuation to handing over the keys. No where to hide. However, what you do get is someone who is motivated, knowledgable and because im dealing with a smaller amount of properties. You get someone who has the time to help guide you through the process.

5. most people want to view properties outside of their 9am-5pm Monday -Friday working hours. So it surprises me that most agents close at 5pm on a week day and 2pm on a Saturday. they don’t even open on a Sunday. Being independent means I can choose my working hours and can be available for clients when they want to view. Giving your property the best chance to sell.
