If your channel drains are packed with construction muck, heavy rain has nowhere to go.

The result? Surface water pooling directly against your brickwork, which can lead to damp issues breaching your DPC (Damp Proof Course) and long-term water damage to your property.

According to NHBC guidelines, all surface water drainage systems must be entirely free from obstruction, fully clear of construction debris, and fully operational before completion.
