We have had to have a paddock swap around due to the ridiculous amount of rain we’ve had. Luckily Roddys got the best spot-as usual, right next to the house. 💕❤️💕 he’s one happy piggy 🐷

🥺 welcome little Richie 🐽💕

Yesterday I got asked to transport Ritchie here ASAP to save him from going to slaughter. So after discussion with the owner and organiser we agreed to transport early this morning at 6:30am to get him to his new home before it got too hot.

So me and the team have decided that we are going to start posting our rescue of the week.

This will give all our lovely supporters the chance to learn where some of our animals come from and learn about their personalities and needs. 🥹

First up is Raymond

Raymond is a Texel x castrated male sheep.
He’s just turned one and been with us since he was 6 days old. He was given to us by a local farmer as Raymond was one of triplets, so mum couldn’t feed them all. At the time the cost of lamlac was to much for the farmer to spend on him.

As he was so young he had to be bottle fed by us, every four hours. Unfortunately due to the wet weather when he was younger he had several chest infections.
Thankfully he is now happy and healthy and loves to run round his paddock with his 5 friends.
Raymond is a larger than life character and cracks us up with his daily antics. 🐑😍
