Two wonderful residents Beryl and Denis enjoyed looking at books and gifts in Morrisons before popping to Nine Springs Cafe for a delicious coffee and look around the beautiful park.🌿🌿

After a wonderful trip out yesterday to celebrate her big day, Muriel obviously decided to take it easy today🤪

Two days and two trips out for more Chestnut Lodge, Yeovil residents.👌

For one lady it was an incredible trip out to bingham and we are so very proud of her. ❤️

For others Ham Hill Country Park was our stop off. The weather and the views were amazing and both enjoyed learning about the history of this magical area. 🌻🌿

Residents at Chestnut Lodge, Yeovil acknowledged Alzheimers Day today with chat and fun purple crafts. 🌟

Some of our special residents are living with this difficult and heart wrenching disease of the brain. As a home our aim is to give them the best possible time at Chestnut Lodge and help them manage their lives. 🫲🫲

To celebrate this, some residents raised a glass to honour all their friends and families dealing with Alzheimers. Sending love around the world ❤️🍷❤️

Chestnut Lodge, Yeovil Derek celebrated his special birthday with the usual presents and cake 🎉🎂🎉

Derek is a sprightly nonagenarian who although is quiet has a wonderful dry sense of humour. He loves his TV and books about trains, the war and the country. 🌿⭐️

Staff wish him all the best happiness on his special day. Looking forward to many more birthdays with him at Chestnut Lodge 🫲❤️

Busy day at Chestnut Lodge, Yeovil with Steph working so hard to make our residents look extra special👨‍🦳👩‍🦳

They so look forward to their fortnightly trims, cuts and perms and we must thank Steph again 🫲🫲

Afterwards a round of darts and friendly chat finished the day off nicely.

Chestnut Lodge, Yeovil residents had two special visitors today..The Mayor of Yeovil Tony and The Mayoress Connie.⭐️⭐️

Both spent quality time chatting about Yeovil, past jobs and places where our residents lived. We are lucky to have such engaging friends in our community who take their time to visit us 🫲🫲

One resident recognised Tony and said 'how amazing it was to see him walk into the room'.....magic moments🧙‍♂️❤️
