Resident trips are not just for them but also their loved ones ⭐️

Ron one of our residents at Chestnut Lodge, Yeovil wanted to buy his wife some flowers for her birthday today., so of course we were only too happy to assist. 🍰

They then spent the day together at the home sharing the special day together. Love still going strong after over 40+ years.❤️❤️

A virtual day at the races today for residents at Chestnut Lodge, Yeovil to celebrate the start of Royal Ascot 🐴

As it was also hairdresser day it seemed appropriate to get the hats out, whilst enjoying horsing around playing racing games🤪

Some simply prefered watching the horse racing on the TV with a slice of cake and a cuppa. ☕️☕️

Another super busy day for residents and activities at Chestnut Lodge, Yeovil 🤪

It started with busy armchair exercise classes on all 3 floors💪
Then it was quickly off to help celebrate Joanna's birthday with flowers and her favourite chocolates🎉
Break for lunch and then we were decorating freshly baked biscuits made by our wonderful chefs🫓
An improptu computer lesson for Pauline, which she thoroughly enjoyed.......
And to round the day off we celebrated Beer Day at supper time with a cold alcohol free drink of the amber nectar! 🍺

Life is gooood at Chestnut Lodge!😄

Another fantastic afternoon at lodge, yeovil when we were visited by PCSO Seren and one of the OK9 wellbeing dogs.🐕

These amazing dogs are used by the police force to support officers and other police personnel. ❤️

PCSO Seren spent quality time chatting with residents about what she does and how the police engage with the community.⭐️

What a great day out at Shaftesbury Tractor Fest for one of the residents at Chestnut Lodge.

Burgers, ice creams and all things tractor related made the day so special for him. The rain stayed off which was good as it was rough going on the field with a wheelchair!

Definitely one for the diary again next year.....
