ALLEGED BRUTALITIES ON CORNY BRYANT ADAMS BY SOME POLICEMEN
On Monday, 29/07/2024, around 12:06am, Mr. Corny Bryant Adams, known by most as Corny man, while at his Snooker game court( at abandoned Barclays Bank premises at Agona Nkwanta), was physically assaulted by some persons(3), alleged to be officers of Ghana Police Service(weren’t in their uniform as at that time), Ahanta West, Agona Nkwanta division. Their reason for such unlawful, barbaric and condemnable act is, he(Corny) had asked them to get out of the court because they were bullying those playing the game, it is alleged they were intoxicated, from their looks. Few minutes after they had left the court, they came back again, this time around with about ten (10) additional guys(alleged to be also policemen). They eventually started beating him, they beat him to the palp, use their handcuffs and stones to hit his head and body many times till he had sustained severe injuries. The few guys who were around were threatened not to intervene because they would also be beaten should they try to do so.
After the incident, he went to the Police Service devision(Agona Nkwanta) to launch a complain and till date nothing has been done for justice to prevail.
In fact, this is unlawful, unacceptable and heartbreaking 💔, as such, I call on both National and Regional Ghana Police Service, as a matter of urgency set up a committee to investigate this matter and interdict all personnels who are at fault as far as this matter is concerned to serve as a deterrent to potential doers.
Police are to protect us not threaten or put our lives in danger.
