As a custodian of the land,Tamale Tindan Karim (Naa Yab' Buɣ'lana),the Spiritual Overlord of Tamale,was at the Sod-cutting ceremony yesterday to perform his spiritual duty,for the commencement of the construction of the 24-Hour Economy module market at the Kukuo market in Tamale. This is a birth right no one can take from him. The lips can lie,but the heart knows the truth. Gradually,the truth shall prevail and there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

As-salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah.

The leadership of the Tamale Central Mosque wishes to bring to the attention of the general public a recent statement made by Imam Hambal TV regarding the source of funding for the construction of the Tamale Central Mosque.

While we acknowledge the concerns raised and recognise the importance of accurate public information, we wish to clarify that the Tamale Central Mosque was not built by the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The foundation for the current structure of the mosque was laid around 1974 through the efforts and contributions of the local Muslim community and other well wishers. It is also important to note that the Zaa'migu area itself has existed for well over a century, with a history that spans more than 150 years, reflecting the long standing presence and growth of the Muslim community in Tamale.

As a community of faith, we also wish to use this opportunity to express our solidarity with the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran during this period of mourning. We pray that Allah grants comfort to those who have lost loved ones and brings peace and stability to their nation.

May Allah continue to guide and unite the Ummah.

The Tamale Tindana yesterday honored an invitation to the inauguration of the Panacea Pharmacy in Tamale. In a speech delivered on his behalf by the Secretary,the Tindana gave them his blessings, wished them a safe working environment and assured them that his doors are always opened to receive them as and when the need arises.
In his own voice,the Tindana seized the opportunity to caution the pharmacy against the sale of illicit drugs to the youth of Tamale. The Tamale branch manager of Panacea Pharmacy,stated clearly that they are committed to providing quality and affordable medications to the people of Tamale and would not sell any medicine to persons who'll come to the pharmacy without prescriptions. He added that people who will come to ask for the illicit drugs will be handed over to the police.
