Our Big boy is not doing to well :( we sponsor Zeus and our offical mascot, we know he's a Old boy but he is a strong boy so we hope he bounces back and gets back to a comfortable health 💙 wishing him all the best from me (Jock) and JP Haulage team 💙

Zeus is back at the Sanctuary he will be staying inside an enclosure whilst he has his treatment

Unfortunately Zeus anemia has worsened significantly

His mouth/gums continue to be in a very poor state due to his gingivitis/stomatitis and being fiv positive

His anemia is considered non - regenerative which means his body is not replacing his red blood cells

The readings is quite a decline compared to his last blood test and all points to the inflammation being much worse

Unfortunately, Zeus's mouth at the moment is in an active severe flareup

The positive is that his kidneys are still ok, especially with his continued repeat of steroid injections. He's been given a antibiotics, steroids and pain relief injections

Also a Solensia injection or his arthritis and a Felpreva flea pipette which covers him for 3 months

Nails were cut and ears cleaned.
He weighs 3.45 kilos which is a slight drop from last time

Zeus will be on a course of Doxybactin antibiotics

Sadly, though Zeus is not in organ failure, his gingivitis/stomatitis is significantly affecting his system
