Protect that part of you that still chooses compassion, patience, and love. The world may reward harshness for a moment, but kindness leaves a deeper mark. Hold on to who you truly are, because the right people will value the warmth you bring into their lives.
I have tried to be cold before, but it never feels right.
Something inside me always reminds me that it is not who I am. Even small moments of unkindness stay in my mind.
I feel things deeply. No matter how hard the world becomes, I refuse to lose my kindness.
