The Jatiluwih UNESCO World Heritage listed rice terraces in Tabanan are another “must see” either as a day trip or on the way/ to from Villa Mata Hari - much better than the over-commercialised rice terraces near Ubud, in our opinion. A dolphin watching excursion is a “must see” experience at Villa Mata Hari. Avoid the crowds by leaving a little later: you have to travel a little further but are compensated with magnificent views of Bali’s stunning North coast & still get to see lots of dolphins 🥰
