"What happens when my leasehold expires?" 🤔

It's one of the most common questions we hear from buyers, and honestly, one of the most important ones to ask before signing anything.

Here's the simple version:

✅ If your lease has an extension clause, great. You can renew directly with the landowner at agreed terms.

⚠️ If there's no extension clause, you'll need to renegotiate from scratch when the time comes. Prices may have changed significantly.

❌ If the landowner won't extend, the property reverts to them. And yes, that includes everything built on the land, unless your contract says otherwise.

The key takeaway? Always check for an extension clause before you sign, and always have a lawyer review the lease agreement.
