In Witness of Myself.

I decided to take a self portrait every day.

I don’t take one every day.

But I take enough to see myself.

Life changes. We change. Sometimes we’re kind to ourselves, sometimes we’re not.

These are little records of being here. Of noticing myself as I move.

It’s strangely satisfying, I think you’d like it.

Back at Coolbawn Yard this evening, 4–9.

Last night was lovely. Friends came, neighbours came, people we’d never met came, we ate too much and laughed a lot.

Guests come and go, and we move too.

Olivia’s exhibition Traces of Life opens as part of the Midleton Arts Festival.

Around the house and workshops there are rings made from old cutlery, salvaged fabrics becoming bags, sketches, experiments and things slowly taking shape by hand.
