This one was a little different from our usual builds, but we love a challenge—and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. 👌

Another stunning gazebo completed recently, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Featuring beautifully crafted curved hammer beam trusses, substantial 10” x 10” Douglas fir posts, this gazebo has real character. Built entirely from Douglas fir, it was designed to blend seamlessly into its surroundings while creating a space that will be enjoyed for many years to come.

We were delighted to be chosen to build this stunning 10m x 8m oak-framed front porch in Co. Wicklow. 1953 and still turning heads.

While the world continues to move towards modern, sleek, and mass-produced, we’re still holding on to something a little different.

Recently, we picked up this beautiful 1953 Ford F100. Not because it’s the fastest, most practical, or most modern thing on the road, but because it represents something we genuinely admire — traditional craftsmanship, character, and quality that stands the test of time.

At OHPM, that’s exactly how we approach our work. We love traditional timber framing, honest materials, and building structures that not only look incredible today but will still be admired for generations to come.

Sometimes the old ways are worth holding on to.
