Hi everyone,

As part of National Spring Clean Day, all local Residents’ Committees, together with Castleblayney Tidy Towns, are organising a clean-up of our estate and surrounding areas.

This is a great chance for us to come together as a community and take pride in where we live. Your support would make a huge difference to the appearance of our estate and homes.

📍 Meeting Point: Green area at the top of the estate
🕥 Time: 10:30am

Castleblayney Tidy Towns will provide rubbish bags, along with a limited number of hi-vis vests and litter pickers. If you have your own hi-vis, gloves, or litter picker, please bring them along.

Everyone is welcome, young and not so young! 😊
Let’s work together to keep our estate looking its best 💚

Hi everyone,

We’re already well into April, and your Residents’ Committee is reaching out for your support 😁

Behind the scenes, we’ve been working hard to improve the facilities and amenities in Ard Na Lorgan. After the great success of our Christmas party, we’re now planning a big Spring Clean, along with more activities and events throughout the year.

To make this happen, we’re working closely with groups such as Monaghan County Council, Monaghan Integrated Development, and Castleblayney Tidy Towns, but we can’t do it without you.

We’re looking for more people to get involved. Would you consider joining the committee or becoming a support member? The more help we have, the more we can achieve for our community.

We’d also really love to hear your ideas, what would you like to see in the estate? Any suggestions or feedback are more than welcome.

Don’t be shy! There are over 100 homes in Ard Na Lorgan, and the committee is here to represent everyone 💪

You can comment below or reach out privately to any committee member, but please get involved so we know you’re interested.

Let’s work together to make Ard Na Lorgan an even better place to live!

🌿 National Spring Clean Day – Saturday, April 25th 🌿

Hi everyone!

As part of National Spring Clean Day, all local Residents’ Committees are teaming up with Castleblayney Tidy Towns to organise a clean-up of our estates and surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for us all to come together, take pride in our community, and make a real difference to the look and feel of our estate.

We’d love to see as many people as possible getting involved, young and not so young 😊 Every helping hand counts!

More details will be shared as soon as we have them.
Let’s work together to keep our area looking its best! 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Santa event such a wonderful success.

Special thanks to Castleblayney Fire Department for giving their time and support, Monaghan Integrated Development, and Cllr Paul Gibbons for their continued help within our community.

A big shout-out to Philip McCaughey for capturing the night so beautifully with his photography.
Thank you to Katrina for the fantastic face painting, and to Santa’s helper for stepping in last minute and the Grinch for bringing extra fun, laughter and festive magic to the evening.

Thank you to all the residents and children who came along – your smiles, excitement and festive spirit made the night truly special.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the committee for all the hard work, planning and dedication that went on behind the scenes to make this event happen.

Community events like this wouldn’t be possible without each and every one of you ❤️🎄
