VRT in Ireland we need to make it go away I want to make this very unfair Irish created tax on every car in our country called VRT removed.

Just another prime example is the new land cruiser starting at 125k and €2400 Road tax because of our VRT and silly road tax for our perfect roads , same jeep across the water in UK approx £70k surely the government should want everyone driving newer cars not loading them with extra costs to keep them away from people

I have requested to get aid in abolishing this tax called Irelands vehicle registration tax where the Irish government made over 800 million euros from its own people last year alone, not a government policy to aid people in spending money on new cars and not be penalised for trying to own a nice new car but instead they want to keep people driving older cars as this will make even more VRT money clooected from importing used cars and then also needing a NCT which has also now increased in price someone needs to do something quick we need to make a stand here people thanks

Thanks for all the support in a short time does anyone have any input on what way they could see vrt being abolished I'm aware there is other organisations that have been at this a long time with no success I hope our outcome is better and I know it will take time

To all the residents in our lovely island of Ireland this tax called vrt must go we are being held back and penalised for trying to purchase new cars in Ireland, I'm looking for help from any legal organisation and from everyone willing to take this directly to the government we should NOT be paying this silly tax called VRT example it costs approximately €75k to €80k for a bmw 530e in Ireland and approx £50k for the same car in UK does anyone have any ideas on how we cam highlight this issue and get vrt banished
