A room designed to be both lived in and lingered in.

Blending the warmth of a dining room with the quiet character of a library, this space was conceived to feel intimate, atmospheric and timeless. Colour drenching every surface — from the ceiling and walls to the skirting and architraves — creates a cocooning effect that beautifully complements the richness of the antique furniture.

The dining chairs were lovingly reupholstered in a contemporary fabric, giving these treasured family heirlooms a fresh new chapter. A striking work by acclaimed Irish artist Patrick Scott sits on a bespoke sliding mechanism, introducing both flexibility and playfulness to the joinery design.

The original timber floors were carefully sanded and stained, preserving their natural beauty and the story of the home itself.

The exquisite period details of our 1860s Victorian home were one of the reasons we fell in love with it. Carefully restored and thoughtfully reimagined, every element in this entrance hall was chosen to honour the home’s original architecture while introducing depth, colour, and contemporary character.

The striking geometric artwork by Irish artist – John Redmond brings both precision and vibrancy to the space, while the elegant bronze sculpture The Letter by adds a quiet sense of narrative and refinement. Both artists are represented by

During the renovation of our Victorian home, we uncovered a beautiful original arch connecting the two principal rooms — a discovery that completely shaped the design direction.

This architectural detail allowed us to create a dual-aspect entertaining space, flooded with natural light and defined by generous proportions. To enhance the sense of flow, we selected two striking glass lighting pieces from Ochre, while carefully echoing tones and textures between the sitting room and kitchen to establish a cohesive, harmonious feel.

The Molteni sofa by Vincent Van Duysen anchors the space — timeless, refined, and exceptionally comfortable. A bespoke burl wood TV cabinet introduces warmth, depth, and a layer of quiet elegance. Photography by

At the heart of the design for my own home — a beautiful Victorian period property — was the creation of an intuitive flow. Relocating the kitchen to the upper ground floor was the defining move from which the entire layout evolved. Balancing old and new, while preserving functionality and spatial harmony, was central to every decision.

The freestanding units were designed to read as furniture within the space, while oyster marble, tinted glass and stained oak create a timeless classic-contemporary palette of natural materials.

Our vision was beautifully brought to life by , with whom we collaborated step by step as every detail evolved. Counter stools from were chosen for their comfort and understated elegance, while the solid glass drop pendant from adds a striking sculptural focal point.

At this time of year, when daylight fades early and our homes become our refuge, lighting becomes one of the most powerful tools in shaping how a space feels. ✨

In our residential projects, we focused not just on light—but on the shadows it creates. The contrast between the two brings depth, warmth, and dimension to a room. A perfectly placed wall light, a softly glowing pendant, or a tailored floor lamp can transform a space from ordinary to atmospheric.

Swipe to see how we use lighting to highlight textures, create mood, and bring architecture to life.
Because in great design, shadows are as important as the light itself.

At this time of year, when daylight fades early and our homes become our refuge, lighting becomes one of the most powerful tools in shaping how a space feels. ✨

In our residential projects, we focus on beautiful feature lights but also on the shadows that lighting creates. The contrast between the two brings depth, warmth, and dimension to a room. A perfectly placed wall light, a softly glowing pendant, or a tailored floor lamp can transform a space from ordinary to atmospheric.
