A proud day for Fitzpatrick & Heavey Homes.

We were delighted to officially turn the sod on Fort View, our new development in Cavan Town, Co. Cavan. The scheme will deliver 145 homes in a mix of social, affordable and private housing, with the potential of up to 1,300 homes on the site - a significant step in meeting housing needs across the local community.

Sincere thanks to everyone who joined us to mark the occasion, and to the partners who helped bring this project from vision to reality. We're already looking forward to seeing the first homes take shape over the coming months.

We would like to thank The Irish Times for featuring insights from our CEO, Ciaran Fitzpatrick, in an op-ed today, discussing the need for large scale ambition by Ireland's new Housing Activation Office.

“A shift in mindset is required. If Ireland is to address its housing shortfall, developments must be imagined and delivered at a different scale. This means thinking in terms of thousands of homes on single sites, not hundreds, and these homes need to be planned and delivered as integrated communities, rather than a series of disconnected phases."
