Yom Kippur is the only day of the year when the country becomes truly quiet.

Yesterday, a very special and emotional ceremony was held, where scholarships were awarded to outstanding athletes from Eilat by the Tova and David Avrahami Memorial Fund.

The fund, which believes strongly in the values of giving and excellence, awarded around 85,000 shekels to these young stars, helping them continue to bring pride to our city and our country.

Since it was founded, the fund has invested over 2 million shekels in supporting outstanding athletes.
