*Cyprus Ranked World’s Best Country for Buying a Holiday Home*
A new global holiday home index by Compare the Market has ranked Cyprus first out of more than 50 destinations for purchasing a holiday residence, with an overall score of 8.25/10 based on factors like activities, housing prices, and weather — ahead of Australia, Malta, Italy and Greece. The island also scored highly for restaurants and things to do, while maintaining relatively affordable real house prices according to the OECD index
