PDP Leader Dr. Peer Shabir Siddiqui Raises Road Conditions Issue with R&B Authorities
Pahalgam: A delegation from Pahalgam today met PDP leader and Constituency In charge Pahalgam Dr. Peer Shabir Siddiqui, and apprised him of the poor condition of roads in the area.
The delegation highlighted that the deteriorating road conditions are causing considerable inconvenience to the general public particularly patients, elderly people and those requiring medical assistance. The situation becomes even more difficult during the winter months when harsh weather conditions further affect road connectivity and movement.
Taking serious note of the concerns raised by the delegation, Dr. Peer Shabir Siddiqui immediately took up the matter with the Executive Engineer, R&B Division Pahalgam and requested that necessary measures be taken at the earliest to improve the condition of the roads.
The R&B authorities assured Dr. Siddiqui that the matter would be looked into and quick action would be taken to address the issue.
Dr. Siddiqui emphasised that proper road connectivity is a basic public necessity and is particularly important in areas where people have to travel for medical care and other essential services. He said that genuine public grievances would continue to be raised with the concerned departments until appropriate action is taken.
