Boundaries are beautiful. But they’re also hard.
Not everyone claps when you draw a line.
Some take it personally.
Some test it.
And sometimes... you doubt yourself.
Lately, I’ve had to say no more often — to things that felt familiar, to people who meant well, and to habits I used to hide behind.
Not out of ego.
But out of self-respect.
It’s uncomfortable.
To step away.
To not explain.
To not justify every decision with a long paragraph.
But here’s what I’ve realised —
Saying no to the noise is the only way I can say yes to myself.
This isn’t a “bounce back” post.
This is a slow return.
To stillness. To truth. To peace.
And if that makes me seem distant or different — I’ll take it.
Because I’ve worked hard for this quiet.
Boundaries aren’t walls.
They’re windows — the kind that let light in, but keep the chaos out.
So if you’re in a similar space — know this:
You’re not selfish.
You’re choosing yourself.
And that’s not only okay... it’s necessary.

Have you been choosing peace lately?
