We all know what Facebook is. It is the number 1 social network around the world. Almost every individual is now having a facebook profile. But when it comes to security more than 50 percent people is not aware about the protection of their online life. Sometimes it can be very dangerous if you don't keep your online life secure. So here we will be discussing about the different methods that is used to hack a facebook account so that we can prevent us from being hacked.
Note: This article is not related to hacking and we are not promoting any hacking content. This is only for educational purpose and creating awareness and education about hacking. We are not revealing how to hack facebook account. It is only about protecting ourselves.
HACKING A FACEBOOK PROFILE / REAL WAYS OF HACKING A FACEBOOK PROFILE

Now the first thing that comes in mind that how can we hack. We will be discussing common method that is used to hack a facebook account. Our main aim will be to only protect ourselfs from being hacked. So here you will not learn how to hack someone but you will be learning how to protect yourself.
Social Engineering Attack

The main purpose is to get the victims password if we are able to know the password of the victim's facebook profile then he is hacked. We can access to his profile and can do whatever we want with his profile.
So suppose yourself as victim. Now think about the places where your password is stored. There are mainly 3 places where your facebook password is stored

Your Browser (if you said your browser to remember your password)
Now retrieving password from the first two places is almost impossible. Now a hacker can retrieve your password from your computer or laptop if the hacker is a person close to you or know you personally.
So if you want to protect yourself from being hacked with this way, just be aware don't let your friends access your laptop if you are saving your password in your browser.
This was the very basic method to hack a facebook password and this is called Social Engineering.
Now suppose yourself as a hacker. You can think a lots of ways to fool your friends and can retrieve their password. But if you want to protect yourself you have to be aware about your security and don't let your friends to fool you easily.
Phishing Attack

Now this is also comes under social engineering. It can be very useful when you don't know the victim personally. I will not be telling how to perform this method. But I will tell the detail about this method for protecting yourself from phishing.
Hacker's create a fake loging page which looks same as facebook login page called phishing page.
Hacker's sends you the link to the phishing page with a very convincing message that victim will have to open the page and login via that phishing page
Once the victim types his user name and password to the phishing page and clicks on login, the victim redirects to an other page and the user name and password sent to the hacker.
Disadvantage
Very common and old method almost everyone knows about it so chances of success is very low with this method.
Protecting Yourself From Phishing
Never believe in any emails or messages asking for your facebook password or asking you to login with any page.
You can click on the link and can open the page but never enter your password until you are not sure about the authentication of the page.
Changing Victim's Password

This is very good method facebook has several password reset options to reset the password of a profile. Now if your victim is very close to you, you might be able to change the victim's password by guessing your victim's security question or if you have access to your victim's email you can easily access his account by changing the password.
If your victim has activated his mobile number on facebook and somehow you are able to access your victim's mobile phone then it will be more easy to change your victim's password in seconds.

Protecting Yourself
Secure your email.
The answer of your security question should not be guessable by anyone else.
If you are activated your mobile phone in facebook then don't give your mobile phone to your friends and if you give them then stay around your friend and see what he is doing.

Brute Force / Dictionary Attack

Now this is very dangerous and effective method but it can not be easily implemented to facebook. In this method we create a list of possible password and then try login in by every password or in other words we try to login with all the possible combinations.
Now this method can only be succeed when the victim's password is very weak or is from dictionary.
Protecting Yourself
Always use a strong password. The criteria of a strong password is:
Should not be a dictionary word
Should be atleast of 10 characterlong
Should contains special characters, capital letters, small letters and numbers

Key Logger / Trojan Attack

Key Logger keep records of all the keys pressed in a system and sent it to a defined email (hacker), and trojan gives the full remote access of a system to the hacker.
Suppose a friends ask you for your laptop for 5 minutes and you gave him. Now next day your account is hacked. So be aware always your friends ("har ek friend kamina hota hai") can execute a keylogger or trojan in your computer or laptop for getting your password. So always use a good anti virus program or keep checking for suspicious programs in your computer.
THE MYTHS RELATED TO FACEBOOK HACKING

There are unlimited numbers of scams, fake software programs and websites are available that will say you that they can hack any facebook profile in minutes. Now just think with your mind. Is it really possible to hack a facebook profile with an automated process?
How can one create software for hacking a facebook profile?
The answer is a big NO. A software program is completely not possible and hacking facebook is not so easy, think there are 5000+ emmployees working on facebook. They are continuously working on security. So can you hack facebook by an automated process or software program?

Sony Xperia C is the company’s first smartphone powered by a MediaTek chipset.We’ve also managed to put our hands on a unit and we are ready to share our traditional hands-on videowith you.

The Sony Xperia C comes with a quad-core 1.2GHz low-powered Cortex-A7 processor, PowerVR SGX544 graphics and 1GB of RAM. While hardly the benchmark champion, this is the kind of hardware that can deliver either excellently smooth experience provided that the software is optimized well enough.

The Sony Xperia C is built around a large 5.0″ TFT display with 540x960px resolution, and it has dual-SIM capabilities and an 8MP rear camera as its key selling points. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, but there is no information on upcoming updates just yet.

Sony Xperia C was initially targeting the developing Asian markets, where the dual-SIM capabilities are a mandatory option, but it has since expanded its reach quite significantly, suggesting better than expected initial performance.

Introduction
"Mini" is the hot keyword for phones - a natural response to the pocket-busting 5" inch trend of this flagship generation. With the same premium aluminum unibody, the UltraPixel camera and BoomSound speakers, the HTC One mini can proudly bear its father's name.

The screen has come down from 4.7" to 4.3" and the height and width of the device have shrunk accordingly. Combined with the lower weight, the One mini feels much smaller than the One, maybe even enough to seduce some iPhone users who have had it with the small 4" screen. The screen resolution of the One mini is 720p, which still helps it to 342ppi density (better than Retina).
A smaller phone means less space for components. The first piece to feel the effect is the battery which has lost 500 mAh of its capacity and is down to 1,800mAh. HTC also went with a Snapdragon 400 chipset, which offers a dual-core Krait 300 CPU downclocked to 1.4GHz (it's typically at 1.7GHz) and an Adreno 305 GPU. The RAM has also got cut down to 1GB, which would have any multi-tasker raise an eye-brow.

We understand the chipset choice (though the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini runs the CPU at 1.7GHz). We even understand dropping the Optical Image Stabilization, as even the big HTC Butterfly S doesn't have it. The company also dropped the NFC and MHL connectivity along with the IR blaster. The non-expandable 16GB of storage makes us wish HTC would offer a 32GB version, even if it's just to know we have options.
Individually, those are understandable choices, but the Galaxy S4 mini has expandable storage, NFC and IR. Do all the dropped features mean the One mini is really just a fancier midrange phone rather than the compact high-end phone we wanted?

We won't lie, the aluminum unibody of the HTC One mini is great - it screams "premium" more than the big Galaxy S4, let alone its mini version. And the stereo BoomSound speakers on the front deliver an excellent audio experience, coupled with high-quality audio hardware for the 3.5mm audio jack and Beats audio tuning.
Throw in an UltraPixel camera sensor and the latest Android 4.2.2 with Sense 5 (on par with the just updated regular One) and the feeling that HTC shortchanged the One mini almost subsides.
We won't let it off that easy, though. We have both the HTC One and One mini in front of us to make sure Junior lives up to the name in all departments.

At a quick glance, the Microsoft Surface 2 is a worthy successor of the original. It boasts beefed up specs and slightly improved ergonomics, while retaining the same signature design and dimensions, which have become a family staple. The same goes for its additional Touch and Type covers - they offer better experience and ergonomics than their respective predecessors.
The biggest question mark hanging upon the Microsoft Surface 2 concerns its OS. Windows RT has been abandoned by most major players in the industry, with Microsoft and Nokia left as the only manufacturers to go forward making devices to boot the OS. As a result, developers aren't exactly gushing over the prospect of creating cool apps for the platform, thus putting its very future in question.
There is also the matter of the competition which the Microsoft Surface 2 has to face. In addition to a duo of brand new iPad models and a host of premium Android offerings, the tablet has to deal with a few lower-priced Intel-powered tablets running full Windows 8.1.
