Imagine this: winter in India, the mountain air of the Himalayas, the Ganga River shimmering at dawn, and you—at the very heart of the world's yoga capital, immersing yourself in practice, study, and deep inner renewal under the guidance of experienced teachers. Rishikesh Yogashala invites you to spend an unforgettable 24 days and complete a comprehensive 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course (YTTC)—the perfect opportunity to welcome the New Year in silence, practice, and a community of like-minded individuals.
The course is certified by Yoga Alliance (RYS 156297), and our ashram is registered in India as a Hatha Yoga Ashram (Registration N102/2015). Upon completion, you will receive an official Registered Yoga Teacher (200-hour) certificate, internationally recognized—a document that will open doors to teaching yoga worldwide.
We begin on December 10, 2025; it is recommended to arrive on December 9 to rest and acclimatize—the opening ceremony will be held on December 10. The program concludes on January 2, 2026, with checkout and departure in the morning of January 3. Over 24 days, you will complete a full cycle of practice and theory—200 hours of deep learning.
The participation fee is 1600 euros. The price includes all the essentials for a comfortable and complete immersion: pickup from New Delhi International Airport and comfortable round-trip transfer to Rishikesh (Tapovan); accommodation in our cozy Yogashala—private single rooms with hot water (boiler), a private balcony, and a king-size bed; twice-daily vegetarian sattvic meals (breakfast and dinner)—free from onion, garlic, and chili peppers; as well as 200 hours of in-person yoga classes (instruction is in English).
A day in the ashram is structured so that you live in the rhythm of practice and deep study, while still having time for rest and immersion:
From Monday to Friday: early awakening, Shatkarma, Pranayama, Surya Namaskar sequences and asanas, mantras and rituals, meditation, and workshops on yoga philosophy, anatomy, Ayurveda, teaching methodology, and ethics. In the afternoon—rest, self-practice, and Ayurvedic procedures; in the evening—practical sessions on asanas, adjustments, meditation, and teaching practice. We also offer specialized tracks: Nada Yoga (sound therapy) and healing practices, which are held on specific days of the week. Weekends are partially free: Saturday is dedicated to morning practice and satsang, Sunday is a rest day. Additionally, a Ganga Puja will be held—a traditional ritual on the banks of the sacred river, a deeply moving and purifying experience.
Rishikesh is not just about technique and theory. It's an atmosphere of authenticity: the morning calls of birds over the rivers, the scent of sandalwood and jasmine, the sound of guitars by the Ganga's shores, people from different corners of the world, united by a common goal. Celebrating the New Year here, you are not just marking a date on the calendar—you are beginning a new chapter in life, filled with mindfulness, physical strength, and mental clarity.
If you dream of professional growth as a yoga teacher or wish to deepen your practice under the guidance of experienced mentors—gift yourself this course for the New Year. Spaces are limited: we create a space for profound learning and personal attention for each participant.
Come to Rishikesh—start the year with practice, silence, and clarity. Let's welcome the New Year by the sacred Ganga and together turn a new page in your yogic practice.
