Life can change in a single moment.

One minute you’re planning your 4th of July weekend, family vacations, and making memories. The next, you’re sitting in a hospital room praying for answers.

Today was one of the hardest days our family has ever faced. Vihaan, our incredible special needs warrior, had multiple seizures. For nearly 25 minutes, he was unconscious. There are still so many questions, and right now we don’t have all the answers.

Living as a special needs family teaches you that life is incredibly beautiful, but also unbelievably unpredictable. You learn to celebrate the smallest victories because everything can change in an instant.

Right now, we’re asking for something simple yet powerful—your prayers. Please keep Vihaan and our family in your thoughts as we wait for answers and hope for healing.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love, support, and kindness. It means more than words can express.

Everyone talks about the strength of special needs parents…

But not enough people talk about the strength of their siblings. ❤️

My older son grew up with a brother who is special needs. While many kids were worried about toys, games, and friends, he was learning patience, understanding, and responsibility far beyond his years.

When we lived in our home country, he was bullied simply because his younger brother looked different. Children would stare, make comments, and sometimes be cruel. As a mother, it broke my heart. But what amazed me was watching my son stand beside his brother every single time.

He didn’t choose this journey, but he embraced it.

He learned to be a protector before he was old enough to understand why. He learned compassion when others chose judgment. He learned that real strength isn’t about fighting back—it’s about standing up for someone who cannot always stand up for themselves.

Growing up with a special needs sibling shaped him in ways most people will never understand. There were sacrifices, difficult moments, and tears. But there was also unconditional love, loyalty, and a bond that words can’t describe.

Today, I am proud not only of the young man he has become, but of the brother he has always been.

To all the siblings of special needs children: I see you. Your love, patience, sacrifices, and strength deserve to be celebrated too. ❤️

Some moments as a mom stay with you forever. ❤️

When my oldest son told me he was getting his very first tattoo, I assumed it would be Mom, Dad, or something meaningful to him personally.

Instead, he chose one name: Vihaan.

His little brother. His best friend. His forever responsibility.

The moment I saw “Vihaan” tattooed on his wrist, I had tears in my eyes. Not because of the tattoo itself, but because of what it represents—unconditional love, protection, and a bond that goes far beyond words.

As a special needs mom, one of the quiet thoughts that always lives in the back of your mind is, “Who will always be there for my child?”

In that moment, I got my answer.

Not only does Vihaan have a brother—he has a lifelong protector, advocate, and bodyguard. Someone who proudly carries his name wherever he goes.

My heart is so full. ❤️

Watching our graduate walk across that stage and earn this milestone is a feeling beyond words. Years of hard work, determination, late nights, challenges, growth, and unforgettable memories have led to this special day.

Today, we celebrate not just a diploma, but the incredible young man he has become. We are so proud of all that he has accomplished and excited for the bright future that lies ahead.
