Unskilled and semi-skilled people residing around project sites are provided training, following which they are appointed as gardeners, security guards etc, thus helping them to earn a livelihood and improve their quality of life. To ensure that all of Vianaar's projects maintain consistent quality, the company has set up its own in-house construction team to carry out the ex*****on of all its projects. Vianaar partners with leading industry professionals to create outstanding projects which are creditworthy of design and quality appreciation.

What Goa tastes like in May.

Markets arranged in colour, with seasonal produce moving through familiar hands and routines.

One begins to recognise the season through what fills the market, mangoes stacked in crates, localgreens, spices, and flowers, all arriving in abundance at this time of year.

Vianaar Residencies x Mandy Stobo

This residency became a pause, a moment to step back from an established practice and consider what comes next.

In Goa, the work began to open out. Alongside her paintings, Mandy Stobo ( ) explored new ways of working, including a series of ink-based experiments that introduced a different fluidity to the process.

Drawn to the colour and character of Goan homes, and shaped by time within a Vianaar residence, the work began to hold a new sensitivity.

What emerged was a body of work that captures something quieter - “ The feeling of being at home”.

Meet the Artist

began as a playful experiment in portraiture, embracing imperfection, spontaneity, and human connection from the very beginning.

Over time, Mandy Stobo’s work has evolved into a practice rooted in instinct, humour, and emotional immediacy, bold, expressive, and deeply human.
She came to Vianaar Residencies at a moment of pause, stepping back from her usual rhythm to experiment with new styles, mediums, and ways of working.

Here, the process became more open, more instinctive, guided by curiosity and the simple joy of painting.

A remnant of Goa’s colonial past, where ornate railings frame everyday moments, and the outside is always within reach.

Juliet balconies became part of how homes open themselves to the day, welcoming light, breeze, and the rhythm of life beyond.

Doors remain open a little longer here, conversations drifting between neighbours, as mornings and evenings find their place along these edges.

A gentle connection between the home and its surroundings.

Quietly embedded in the way homes are lived in.
There is a familiarity to it, in how it’s placed & how it’s used.

Move through it long enough,
and it all begins to feel familiar,
a language we continue to follow,
settling into its surroundings without interruption.

Across Goa, homes tend to open outward—through Juliet balconies, shell windows, and an easy invitation to light.

A lot of what drew our homeowners to this space was the light.

It was a key consideration from the very beginning. In the way it fills the space, reflects off the white brick, and maintains a strong connection to the outdoors.

It shapes how the home is experienced across the day.

At Vianaar Residencies, artists are given the time and space to slow down, observe, and respond.

During her time here, worked intuitively allowing Goa’s light, rhythm, and memory to shape what emerged.

Days unfolded between stillness and making, where the work felt less constructed and more received.

What remains is a body of work rooted in place, shaped by time spent within it.

is a Dubai-based multidisciplinary artist, working across paintings, sketches, and objects that move beyond canvas and paper.

Guided by dreams, visions, and meditative states, her process is intuitive—allowing forms to emerge rather than be constructed.

Returning to Goa after years, she found it both familiar and new—revealing itself in ways she hadn’t experienced before.
