🏫 नवी मुंबई ‘एज्यु-सिटी’ प्रकल्पाला गती — विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी जागतिक दर्जाच्या शिक्षणाची नवी दिशा
नवी मुंबईतील करंजाडे येथे सुमारे 100 हेक्टर क्षेत्रावर विकसित होणाऱ्या ‘एज्यु-सिटी’ प्रकल्पाला गती मिळाली असून, आंतरराष्ट्रीय दर्जाच्या 10 प्रमुख विद्यापीठांना आमंत्रण देण्यात आले आहे. प्रत्येक विद्यापीठासाठी सुमारे 10 एकर जागेचे नियोजन करण्यात येत आहे.
या प्रकल्पामुळे नवी मुंबईला ‘एज्युकेशन हब’ म्हणून ओळख मिळण्यास मोठी चालना मिळणार असून, नवी मुंबई आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळाच्या जवळ असल्यामुळे या प्रकल्पाचे महत्त्व अधिक वाढले आहे.
सिडकोचे उपाध्यक्ष तथा व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक श्री. विजय सिंघल यांनी या प्रकल्पाला विशेष प्राधान्य देत, सामाजिक पायाभूत विकासास चालना देणाऱ्या उपक्रमांवर भर दिला आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांना जागतिक दर्जाचे शिक्षण उपलब्ध करून देत, नवी मुंबईच्या सर्वांगीण विकासात हा प्रकल्प महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावणार आहे.
🏫 Navi Mumbai’s ‘Educity’ Project Gains Momentum — A Step Towards Global Education Hub
CIDCO’s ambitious ‘Educity’ project at Karanjade, spread across ~100 hectares, is gaining momentum with plans to invite 10 leading international universities. Approximately 10 acres of land is being earmarked for each institution.
Strategically located near the Navi Mumbai International Airport, the project is set to position Navi Mumbai as a prominent global education hub, enhancing its urban and social infrastructure.
Shri Vijay Singhal, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, CIDCO, has emphasised prioritising socially impactful infrastructure, aligning with the vision of holistic urban development. The Educity project is expected to provide world-class education opportunities and significantly contribute to the region’s growth.
