Chandrayaan-3, ISRO's mission for a soft moon landing, carries six payloads to study lunar soil, capture Earth's images, and pave the way for future interplanetary endeavors. Departing from Sriharikota, it aims to reach the lunar orbit by August 5, with a moon landing scheduled for August 23. The payloads include RAMBHA for plasma density measurements, a rover for studying the atmosphere and charged particles, ILSA for seismic activity analysis, LIBS for elemental composition, APXS for chemical and mineralogical analysis, and SHAPE for studying Earth's near-infrared signatures in the search for extraterrestrial life.
