EEK so this happened 3 weeks ago!!🥳⁣

I haven’t had the chance to post it as I’ve been super busy driving back and forth to do the refurb, working and learning as I go along!😅⁣
⁣
My offer was accepted in March and I’m so relieved things worked out in the end, I had a bit of a rollercoaster with the mortgage but we move!💪🏾⁣
⁣
My goal at the start of the year was to secure my 1st property and it’s all I obsessed and worked towards - i still can’t believe it’s actually happened. None of it would have been possible without my parents, I owe them the world🙏🏼⁣
⁣
I also just wanna say a MASSIVE Thankyou to every single person who’s helped me along the way from when I first started in property up until now. I am nothing without the people who have helped me, given me their time, advice, opinions & guidance💛⁣

I’ll try my best to post regular updates on what I’m up to and what I’m doing with the house✌🏾⁣

This quote hits me where it hurts - I am SOO guilty of having a lack of patience and even guiltier of my attitude towards it🤦🏽‍♀️(I partly put it down to my age)⁣
⁣
Why have I not got 20 houses yet? ⁣
Why do things have to take so long - I want what I want yesterday😩⁣
⁣
BUT, one thing I have learnt over the last year and a half after rubbing shoulders with people more wise than me and are where I want to be, is that:⁣
⁣
“All great things take time” - sounds cheesy I know but it’s true! Anything worthwhile takes time to build - if we had immediate success we wouldn’t build the character we need to sustain it. Right?💯⁣

I know I will reach my goals - I can already see them happening I just need to trust the process, be positively patient, keep doing what I’m doing & it will happen💥⁣

Eeek that moment when you get the keys in your hands after weeks of time, energy & negotiating🔑⁣

I remember when I got the keys to my SA apartments - I was absolutelyy buzzzin with excitement!🥳⁣
⁣
It was a MASSIVE achievement & I was dead proud of myself for getting this far without having to pay for a single property course🙅🏽‍♀️ (if I can do it, anyone can too)⁣
⁣
I remember going straight to the Gurudwara (sikh temple) to show my gratitude & appreciation🙏🏼❤️⁣
⁣
Now I just can’t wait to get the keys to my first property🤩⁣

Do what you can to also educate yourself on what’s going on in the world, don’t turn a blind eye, donate, protest do whatever works for you🖤⁣

Stay safe and be strong, change is painful, but what is more painful is staying stuck somewhere we don’t belong‼️⁣
