Last night, Casoli lit up to officially open the Feste di Santa Reparata e San Gilberto 2026. 🇮🇹

What a beautiful way to begin one of Casoli’s special celebrations!

The streets filled with lights, music and people coming together—a wonderful glimpse into the traditions and sense of community that make this little corner of Abruzzo so special.

This is such an important part of the vision for Palazzo Ricci. It’s about so much more than having a home in Italy. It’s about becoming part of a real Italian town… experiencing its celebrations, traditions and everyday life year after year.

Flat 10 has always been one of our favorite residences at Palazzo Ricci, and in this video Mike takes you inside and shares what this beautiful space will become.

As you watch, you’ll see renderings of the finished residence layered over the rooms as they are today—and that’s when it really starts to come to life. ✨

The beautiful old stone, incredible light, views and character are already here. Now imagine these spaces thoughtfully restored and finished, while still preserving everything that makes this historic palazzo so special.

A quick peek inside one of the most exciting spaces at Palazzo Ricci — the atrium! 🇮🇹✨

Mike is standing right in the heart of the Palazzo, beneath the incredible glass and iron atrium topper that has been carefully restored and returned to its original place.

It’s amazing to think about how much light this space will bring into the center of Palazzo Ricci once everything is complete. Slowly but surely, we’re watching this beautiful old building come back to life — while still preserving the details that make it so special.

There’s nothing quite like seeing the progress in person. ❤️

Ferragosto is one of those wonderful Italian traditions that reminds us to slow down and enjoy summer. 🇮🇹☀️

Celebrated on August 15th, it’s a day when much of Italy takes a well-deserved pause—gathering with family and friends, heading to the sea or the mountains, sharing long meals, and simply enjoying la dolce vita.

Here in Abruzzo, summer has its own beautiful rhythm: warm sunshine, lively piazzas, leisurely meals, and time spent together.
