We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Financial Times, and especially to .sam.talbot for capturing the spirit of the project with such insight and care.

Our deepest gratitude goes to our beloved one of the world’s italian leading art collectors, whose vision, trust and generosity gave us the opportunity to bring this extraordinary home to life.

The project is the rare result of a unique dialogue between art, architecture, landscape, and an exceptional client. We are truly grateful to have been part of this journey.

Materia Mater Chair

Presented at Alcova during Milan Design Week 2018, Materia Mater Library explores the expressive potential of terracotta through a collection of objects that bridge architecture, craftsmanship, and material research.

Terracotta, a material as ancient as civilization itself, embodies both nature’s raw essence and human ingenuity. Materia Mater is a tribute to this humble yet extraordinary medium, elevating its aesthetic and structural qualities through creations that echo architectural forms on a smaller scale.

This project is dedicated to rediscovering the timeless beauty of handcrafted materials.
