At Kameido Tenjin Shrine, the famous wisteria flowers (Fuji no Hana) are already reaching their peak. The annual Kameido Tenjin Wisteria Festival (藤まつり) is being held until April 30, attracting visitors from all over Tokyo.

The elegant purple wisteria hanging above the pond, together with the iconic red bridge and the peaceful shrine atmosphere, creates one of the most picturesque spring scenes in Japan. It is also especially beautiful in the evening when the flowers are illuminated.
