Tonight, I visited Kitano Tenmangu Shrine for the Mitarashi Festival and Mantokai. 🏮✨

The “Ash*tsuke Tomyo Shinto Ritual” involves walking through the Mitarashi River to cleanse the body and spirit with its clear water, then lighting five-colored candles and making a wish. 🕯️

With the lanterns glowing around the shrine, the atmosphere was peaceful and special.

昨天預約了祇園人氣名店 「肉挽きと米 京都」。這裡最大的特色，就是炭火現烤漢堡排搭配現煮白飯，每一塊都是現烤後直接送上桌，而且會分三次供餐，所以每一口都能吃到熱騰騰的美味。🍚🥩最後再搭配一顆生蛋黃，風味又更升級。難怪這麼難訂位，真的值得來試...

昨天預約了祇園人氣名店 「肉挽きと米 京都」。

這裡最大的特色，就是炭火現烤漢堡排搭配現煮白飯，每一塊都是現烤後直接送上桌，而且會分三次供餐，所以每一口都能吃到熱騰騰的美味。🍚🥩最後再搭配一顆生蛋黃，風味又更升級。

難怪這麼難訂位，真的值得來試試看！

Yesterday, I finally visited Nikuhiki to Kome Kyoto in Gion with a reservation.

This popular restaurant is known for its charcoal-grilled hamburger steaks served with freshly cooked rice. Each patty is grilled and served one at a time, so every bite is hot and fresh. 🍚🥩Adding the fresh egg yolk at the end made it even more delicious.

No wonder it’s so hard to book—definitely worth the reservation! ✨

Last night, I walked along Shijo Street and noticed that only Tsuki-boko was lit up. 🏮✨

The other festival floats were still dark, so Tsuki-boko really stood out. It looked beautiful and made me even more excited for the Gion Matsuri!

💜 I finally made it to Mimuroto-ji Temple to see the hydrangeas on the very last day of the season.

Many of the blooms had already faded, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the first lotus flowers of early summer beginning to bloom. 🪷✨

It was a beautiful reminder that as one season comes to an end, another quietly begins. 🍃

Passing by the Kyoto Imperial Palace today, the seats were already lined up neatly beneath the early summer sky.
