FINDING IT HARD TO UNDERSTAND THE WORD OF GOD?

Bible passage: Matthew 13: 23.
Matthew 13:23
"But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."

Hebrews 4:2
"For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it"

For any word of God to bring forth its intended fruits in a man's life, it must be received with faith. Faith is activated when one understands what he has read. To understand the word of God one should have the fear of God which is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge and with this you can easily understand the truth of word of God.

Although, God's expectation is for the gospel to be preached to the ends of the earth, it is one thing for a man to hear and it's also another thing entirely for him to comprehend what he has heard.

In Acts 8:26-40, an Ethiopian eu**ch travelling home from Jerusalem, could not comprehend what he was reading in the book of Esaias until the Holy spirit sent Phillip to minister to him.

Romans 10:17
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

The truth is that the word of God remains closed to anyone who does not hear the word of God if they are weak in faith so ask for the help of the Holy Spirit. It is crucial for the word to be open, as it is only when it is, that the spirit and the life available therein becomes beneficial to the reader.

1 Thessalonians 2:13
"For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe."

Dear beloved, ask the Holy Spirit into your quiet time to get all that God has for you in His word. As Jesus said that heavenly Father will send the Holy Ghost a comforter in His name, who will help us to understand the word of God for He will teach us and make us understand.

John 14:26
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

Hebrews 4:12
"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

He alone is able to remove the veil of the enemy placed over your ability to comprehend what you are reading (if this is the case), and give you the treasures therein.
I pray as you follow this, you will not miss out on the Divine benefits that comes with the Word of life. May God send His Holy Spirit upon you and May He dwell upon you and May He lead you, guide you and teach you to understand the word of God and to preach the entire world to save many souls those who are living under the shadows of darkness in Jesus mighty name..Amen.

*YOU WILL DEFINITELY REAP WHAT YOU SOW*

Dear sister, you're praying to God to bless you with a good husband. You're praying to have a man that will love you and be honest with you. But yet you will not allow other women to enjoy their husband by running after them.

A lot of young ladies outside there want to marry a good, caring, and loving man. Seriously praying to have a happy home. But they're sleeping with married men, causing their fellow women pains in their marriages. Sister, repent from your sins, because you shall definitely reap what you sow.

Some guys, are busy baptizing themselves with s*x, sleeping with the married women in the name of sugar mummy. I pity your life, because you're planting seeds of sorrow, agony and pain, into your future. You will surely reap the fruits of your bad labour, if you do repent from your sins.

Some ladies used to denied guys access to their ATM pin, account balance, their birth certificate, but yet give them easy access to their private parts.Virginity that was the most expensive asset is now cheaper than a plate of rice.

Some guys, are sleeping with different ladies, enjoying themselves with s*x thinking they're wise guys. But they forgot that they're selling their future. Some people are suffering today, because they sold their destiny through s*x. Everybody must surely reap what he/she sow.

No matter how you chose to live your life, always remember there is something called death, there is a place called hell fire, there is a place called judgement throne. Where are you going to spend your Eternity? Be conscious of Eternity don't live your life anyhow, because Heaven and hell fire is real.

Accept Jesus Christ genuinely into your life as your Lord and personal saviour and be saved.

_Ability denotes capacity, skill, power, talent, aptitude, physical power, mental skill and so on. All abilities are given by God; and everyone has the ability to do, at least, something significant. God gives different abilities and talents. That’s why you may find something difficult that’s quite easy for someone else to do. You too have skills that others lack. Some people’s abilities are manifested in the use of their hands. Such giftings include writing, typing, playing a piano or guitar, manning a particular machine, handling a particular work tool, knitting, kneading and so on._

_As for some others, their gifts manifest in the use of the tongue. Their oratory prowess is unequaled. In this category are gifted singers, preachers, teachers, marketers and entertainers. Some people’s abilities lie in their mental excellence. They use their brain, imaginations, creativities, and knowledge to solve problems and come up with innovative ideas and useful products. Authors, inventors and entrepreneurs fall into this category. Of a truth, we are all endowed with different abilities indeed._

_As there are natural abilities there are also spiritual abilities or gifts. And all of them are important to God for He expects to receive all the glory by the way we use them. We are expected to be diligent with our abilities so that they can grow; thereby making more and more people benefit from our gifts. We need not be afraid to immerse ourselves into developing that which God has lovingly given us. We can go for training and seek Godly counsel. There’s a lot to do for Christ and humanity. So, pray, discover what God has made you to be and work towards becoming just that._
