At Mama Zetu C.B.O, our bold commitment to feminism and youth-led transformation ensures that the voices and leadership of of Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW's) is respected while advancing for equitable access to opportunities for all the young people.

Today we partnered with Baraka health net and German doctors for Linda Binti project festival in korogocho .mentorship programs were done moreso on family planning and contraceptive and also economic empowerment beside that free service provisions e.g family planning was done

Due to increasing pregnancy and Spiking HIV/Aids infections among young people, On Friday 16th Mama Zetu CBO in partnership with Africa & # Immaculate and adhoch foundation held an outreach on Family Planning and Centraceptives with 100 Adolescent Girls and Young mothers in Kariobangi Chief's Compound emphasizing the importance of hygiene, responsible use of contraceptives and family planning methods.

Every day, approximately 830 mothers die from preventable conditions related to pregnancy and childbirth.
Most (99%) of these deaths occur in developing countries like Kenya. Severe bleeding, puerperal infections, preeclampsia and eclampsia, complications from delivery and unsafe abortion account for nearly 75% of all
maternal deaths.
Skilled health care before, during and after childbirth could save these lives.
